Functional and sleek Danish square dining table. This versatile piece is square when closed but doubles in size when leaves are pulled out from beneath the square top. It can easily be used with only one leaf extended too. Absolutely gorgeous teak wood grain. Exquisitely crafted with matching teak wood grain that runs horizontally as the leaves are extended and beautiful details with curved edges. Marked on the underside “Made In Denmark”.Fully remanufactured. This item is in excellent vintage condition. It has been refinished to the highest standard using original techniques and materials. Member of the Bauhaus in 1927 Takehiko Mizutani was one of the few Japanese students to have attended school. The table has never been part of any production, even if the project in the form of pictures of models and drawings was presented in various monographic productions related to Bauhaus furniture.
