PENGUIN Small
Organic Lines and Nuances
Hans Bunde originally created Penguin in 1954, one for each of his daughters. Penguin is available in two sizes, small and large, and it is made of beech wood. The hand-painted back represents the silky feathers of the bird, and the chest is left unpainted to represent the white bellies penguins are well-known for. Although extremely simple, Penguin is designed in a way that no one could mistake it for another species.

Duck
From story to object..
Frederiksberg, 1959, a family of ducks waddles into a busy street during rush hour. The policemen stopped the traffic for cars and pedestrians, allowing the adorable family to cross unharmed. This charming moment made the headlines of local newspapers and wooed the hearts of Danes. Hans Bølling, a Danish architect and the creator of Duck and Duckling was so enamoured by the story, he brought them to life for everyone to keep on their window-sill.
Hand made from solid teak wood, they are a perfectly refined product with moveable heads. Create your own Duck and Duckling family. By ARCHITECTMADEBig Duck

Panda Large
Balance and opposition within simple shapes
On the occasion of the arrival of two giant pandas, the Copenhagen Zoo asked BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group to create a home for them. The configuration seeks to create ideal mating conditions. The layout mimics the yin-yang symbol that in Chinese philosophy represents opposite but balanced forces within a circle. The wooden figure Panda, designed by BIG, is available in two sizes: small and large. The upper body rotates on the lower body and the arms and legs are movable.

Mermaid
Fairytales come true..
At first glance, Mermaid reminds us of the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale that most people associate Denmark with. Designed in 1960, Hans Bølling’s character goes beyond the fairy tale and embodies an ethereal, refined feminine aura. Her carefully rounded shape and thoughtful lines offer a sense of serenity.
Mermaid brings together sophisticated and simple Danish design. You can create new expressions simply by turning her head, fin, body, or arms. The head can also be taken off to put the arms over the head. The lower part of her body is made of oak wood, while the upper parts are made out of maple wood. By ARCHITECTMADE

CHUBBY BIRD Smoked
Turning Heads since 1959
Now a legend, Kristian Vedel’s iconic BIRD is the essence of Danish design. Though simple in appearance, its clean lines create endless expressions by merely tilting its head in virtually any direction. BIRD can express happiness, sadness, and curiosity, living alone or together as a family. The body can also be turned upside down resembling different body types. From child to grandparent, BIRD represents an entire generation.
Handmade in smoked oak, its eyes are inserted with wenge wood and maple wood. By ARCHITECTMADEW:9.8cm H:15.5cm
