Lubitel refers to any of the several medium format twin-lens reflex cameras manufactured in Russia by Leningrad Optical-Mechanical Association – LOMO. The Lubitel uses 120 film, feature Cooke triplet, all-glass lenses and shutter speeds from bulb to 1/250 of a second. The aperture range is from f/4.5 to f/22. Focusing: zone focusing via the ring on the lens, scale for flash distance, and aperture. Focus range: 1.5-10m +inf. Since it is made for amateur photographers, it is lighter (thanks to its polycarbonate top and bottom covers and copper-aluminum alloy body), less bulky, and is far simpler to use. It has aperture priority, semi-automatic exposure control powered by a 60/40 center-weighted silicon light meter and a viewfinder that has a needle that indicated the exposure on a shutter speed scale.
