The word “Smena”  (CMEHA) literally means “Young Generation” in English – an apt name for a line of cameras produced by the esteemed LOMO factory in St. Petersburg, Russia

Smena -8 is similar to Smena-6, but added film rewind, possible to use just one cassette with take-up spool and blocking system
