Composition No.4 -Piet Mondrian Poster

Mondrian developed his unique style, neoplasticism, characterized by geometric abstraction and primary colors. Fleeing World War II, he settled in New York, where he continued his influential work until his death on February 1, 1944, at the age of 71. Mondrian’s art laid the groundwork for abstract art and left a lasting impact on the 20th-century art scene.
“Composition No. 4” by Piet Mondrian, painted in 1914, is a prime example of his transition to neoplasticism.
