Smena -8M film camera manual 35mm shootbox, 1970’s, made in the USSR. Has a coated “Triplet” lens that delivers nice saturation and contrast. Lens: three element triplet lens, the T-43. Exposure: exposure controls are all on the lens, which allows for apertures from f/4 though to f/16. Interestingly the apertures are also the ISO control. Speed range: from 1/250 to 1/15 of a second and Bulb. Tripod socket. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order.

Nikon EM SLR film camera. Manufacturer by Nippon Kogaku K. K. Made in Japan, 1979. The Nikon EM is an electromechanically-controlled manual focus SLR powered by two S76/A76 cells or one 1/3N battery. Since it is made for amateur photographers, it is lighter (thanks to its polycarbonate top and bottom covers and copper-aluminum alloy body), less bulky, and is far simpler to use. It has aperture priority, semi-automatic exposure control powered by a 60/40 center-weighted silicon light meter and a viewfinder that has a needle that indicated the exposure on a shutter speed scale. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order. Comes with the original case.

Designed as a Rolleiflex copy (and doing a darned good job of it), the Mat-124 G features a four-element, 80mm f/3.5 lens set of the better “Yashinon” variety, shutter speeds from 1-second to 1/500th, an aperture range of f/3.5 – f/32, a bright ground-glass viewing screen, a crank arm film advance, and ergonomic aperture/shutter controls.
