The Agfamatic-108 is a viewfinder camera for Pak-Film 126 cassettes. It has an AgfaColorstar lens with fixed focus and fixed aperture. Two shutter speeds are selectable with the ring around the lens barrel, the scale showing a cloud and a sun symbol. The camera has a single stroke advance lever that advances the film, cocks the Parator shutter, and turns the flashcube holder on which flipflashes can be fired as flash. On the axis of the advance lever is the red “sensor”, the shutter release button hidden under a round piece of red foil. A little black plastic button side on the side unlocks the back door for opening the camera. The back door has a window for making visible the film cassette’s exposure counter. The camera has an optical bright frame viewfinder of reverse Galilean type. Tripod socket. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order.

Exposure: exposure controls are all on the lens, which allows for apertures from f/4 though to f/16. Interestingly the apertures are also the ISO control. Petri 7s film camera, made by Kuribayashi Camera Industry Inc, 1963. Petri 7S 35mm rangefinder film camera sporting the PETRI 45mm f/1.8 fast prime amber-coated fixed lens. The camera’s uniqueness is its exposure meter design. Called the Circle-Eye exposure system, the lens is completely surrounded by a selenium cell (ATL) for light metering providing very accurate light readings. The readings can be viewed conveniently in two places, on top the camera’s top plate and through the viewfinder. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order.

Agfa Silette-L 35mm film camera. Has a Color Agnar 45mm f/2.8 lens and a Prontor 125 shutter. The shutter speeds are B, 1/30, 1/60, and 1/125 sec. Not exactly a big range to choose from, but certainly workable. The minimum aperture is f/22. The Selenium meter is read from the top deck of the camera, and adjusting the dial to the left of the match needle to center the needle gives you the shutter speed/aperture combination to set the exposure to.
