The lens board pulled out of the camera body for taking pictures and collapsed to make the camera more compact when not in use. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order. Smena -8M, LOMO -Rent Only-
Smena -8M film camera manual 35mm shootbox, 1970’s, made in the USSR. Has a coated “Triplet” lens that delivers nice saturation and contrast. Lens: three element triplet lens, the T-43. Exposure: exposure controls are all on the lens, which allows for apertures from f/4 though to f/16. Interestingly the apertures are also the ISO control. The last twin lens reflex ever produced by Yashica, and the most advanced. Designed as a Rolleiflex copy (and doing a darned good job of it), the Mat-124 G features a four-element, 80mm f/3.5 lens set of the better “Yashinon” variety, shutter speeds from 1-second to 1/500th, an aperture range of f/3.5 – f/32, a bright ground-glass viewing screen, a crank arm film advance, and ergonomic aperture/shutter controls. Totally new not used.
