Agfa Silette-L 35mm film camera. Has a Color Agnar 45mm f/2.8 lens and a Prontor 125 shutter. The shutter speeds are B, 1/30, 1/60, and 1/125 sec. Not exactly a big range to choose from, but certainly workable. The minimum aperture is f/22. The Selenium meter is read from the top deck of the camera, and adjusting the dial to the left of the match needle to center the needle gives you the shutter speed/aperture combination to set the exposure to. Tripod socket. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order.

Since it is made for amateur photographers, it is lighter (thanks to its polycarbonate top and bottom covers and copper-aluminum alloy body), less bulky, and is far simpler to use. It has aperture priority, semi-automatic exposure control powered by a 60/40 center-weighted silicon light meter and a viewfinder that has a needle that indicated the exposure on a shutter speed scale. Smena -8M film camera manual 35mm shootbox, 1970’s, made in the USSR. Has a coated “Triplet” lens that delivers nice saturation and contrast. Lens: three element triplet lens, the T-43. Exposure: exposure controls are all on the lens, which allows for apertures from f/4 though to f/16. Interestingly the apertures are also the ISO control.
