The Cetro-phot is a simple medium format viewfinder 120 film camera debuted by Certo-Kamera-Werk (Gönna & Söhne) in 1958. The camera was constructed of all metal, with nickel hardware and covered in seal grain leather. Lens: simple meniscus lens type, Achromat 75mm f/8.Aperture: holes on sliding disc, f/8 and f/11. Focusing: zone focusing via the ring on the lens, scale for flash distance, and aperture. Focus range: 1.5-10m +inf. Shutter: one speed, spring-loaded rotary shutter, bulb (B), and moment (M) around 1/50. Features included an optical viewfinder, double exposure prevention, top-mounted synchronized flash attachment, and a tripod socket. Petri 7s film camera, made by Kuribayashi Camera Industry Inc, 1963. Petri 7S 35mm rangefinder film camera sporting the PETRI 45mm f/1.8 fast prime amber-coated fixed lens. The camera’s uniqueness is its exposure meter design. Called the Circle-Eye exposure system, the lens is completely surrounded by a selenium cell (ATL) for light metering providing very accurate light readings. The readings can be viewed conveniently in two places, on top the camera’s top plate and through the viewfinder. This vintage item remains fully functional in perfect working order.

Smena -8M film camera manual 35mm shootbox, 1970’s, made in the USSR. Has a coated “Triplet” lens that delivers nice saturation and contrast. Lens: three element triplet lens, the T-43. Exposure: exposure controls are all on the lens, which allows for apertures from f/4 though to f/16. Interestingly the apertures are also the ISO control.
